UTC faculty and staff,

The campus ecology group, EDGE, and the Biological and Environmental
Sciences Department are sponsoring an Earth Day week celebration.  This
year promises to be the biggest Earth Day event on campus yet!  Earth Day
Week starts with a lecture/video series:

Monday, April 16th,"Chip Mills" by John Johnson, Holt 124 at 3 PM

Tuesday, April 17th, "Environmental Landscaping" by Charlene Nash, Raccoon
Mtn Room at 3 PM

Earth Week culminates in the Earth Day Gathering on Wednesday, April 18th -
Green vendors and environmental organizations will be exhibiting at the UC
from 10 AM to 2 PM.  There will be free refreshments, information on
internships, doorprizes, and a raffle.  There will also be T-shirts, lunch
bags, and water bottles for sale to benefit EDGE.  There has been
tremendous community support for this event.  Many companies and
organizations have donated money, time, and materials.
