Dear Colleagues,

Later this month the Department of English will sponsor a series of
presentations, Works in Progress VII, each Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 in
Holt 201. Everyone in the campus community is invited. Refreshments may be
served. Here is our schedule; I will try to send weekly reminders as well:

October 30 Dr. Anne Bailey speaks on "Textual Editing in Context:
                Alexander Pope's 'Windsor Forest'"

November 6 Dr. Immaculate Kizza speaks on "The Cultural Landscape of
                Morocco"

November 13 Dr. Jane Fife speaks on "Students as Writers and Rhetors:
                Perceiving a Situation as Rhetorical"

November 20 Dr. Chris Stuart speaks on "William Maxwell's SO LONG, SEE
YOU TOMORROW and the Autobiographical Impulse"

November 27 Dr. Rich Jackson speaks on "Political Poetry in Europe"

Hope to see you there!
