Hello all -
Here in the Art department we have a "Still Life Closet" which holds
our varied and diverse collection of fascinating oddities the
professors pull from to assemble still life set-ups for the students to
work from. Occasionally, the stockpile needs augmenting; now is one of
those times.
Since budgets are small, instead of scouring junk shops to buy these
objects, I thought I'd try Raven first.
Perhaps you have in your attic, basement, closet, or garage some
forgotten objects just waiting to be donated and drawn by an eager art
student. We aren't looking just for junk, but interesting objects.
High on the list of possibilities are mannequins or mannequin parts,
teapots or pitchers, taxidermy specimens, shoe stays, duck decoys, lawn
decorations from Christmas, old dolls, interesting bottles,
microscopes, etc etc.
Hopefully, you get the idea.
Well - if there are any possibilities, please e-mail. We'll be glad for
any good offers.

David Young
