Believe it or not, I have been asked to contribute via raven to the
information (or misinformation) circulating regarding the Music Department
Follies scheduled for tomorrow (April 1, 1999) at 1:40 PM in the Roalnd
Hayes Concert Hall.  I acceed to said request despite the fact that for the
past several years I have managed to maintain a dicreet distance form this
annual fracas and except for this missive will continue to do so through
the current broohaha.  Suffice it to say that a number of distinguished
colleagues (including the on-leave permanent head of this department) have
shown themselves  willing to compromise their dignity in the interest of a
questionable enterprise designed for your entertainment.  To my mind, the
hightight of the event is the chorus line consisting of the ladies (?!) of
the department in a bone-chilling chorus line.  Other events will no doubt
be equally spectacular, especially the work of MC Dean Crimiini Summertime.
I hope everyone will attend.
