The following is an announcement for the Annual Friends of the NRA
fundraising banquet and live auction. I have tickets available at my office
for anyone who is interested. You can email me off-list, or my cell phone
number is (423) 362-9500.

Friends of the NRA

On July 19th, the Friends of the NRA will hold their annual fundraiser
dinner and auction at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The doors will open at 5:30
PM with dinner being served at 7:00 PM. There will be over 15 firearms at
this year's event that will be available in either the live auction or games
section of the evening. There are also two pre-event firearms drawings for
which only 250 tickets will be sold. Tickets for the dinner are $30.00 each;
tickets for the Limited Chance Drawings for the firearms are $10.00 each
with a 250 ticket limit.

Friends of the NRA (FNRA) is a 501(c3) non profit organization. Our mission
is to educate young people and to promote youth firearms activities. The
money raised at a FNRA event is divided two ways: half goes to the state the
money is raised in, and the other half goes to support national programs
such as Eddie Eagle and other youth programs.

This year's event will be our only fundraiser in this area. Below are some
highlights of what you can expect.

Guns (not all inclusive):

Jerry Miculek Pro 625J

20" Stoegar Coach Gun

Mini Bolt .22 cal

Kimber Blued Ultra Carry II .45 ACP

Benelli Nova Pump 12 GA w/ Extra Full Choke

Custom II Pistol .45 ACP

Vanguard Rifle .3006

Pre-Event Guns:

The NRA Gun of the Year: S&W .460 Revolver

Legacy Over/Under 12 gauge shotgun

We will have several games of chance including our infamous egg drop game, a
roulette wheel, and wingspan. We will also have several games that will be
occurring at various times after the dinner has started. There will also be
a silent auction, live auction, and some special items just for the ladies.

The FNRA needs your help and support at this dinner. To obtain tickets,
please contact Tony Sanders at 423-933-2509 or [log in to unmask]
Tickets may also be purchased at the Ammo Dump located at 4762 Highway 58
(423-499-9193).

FRIENDS OF THE NRA PROGRAM

PURPOSES AND GOALS

* The Friends of the NRA is a local, grassroots program conducted by
local volunteers to raise funds for The NRA Foundation through banquets &
auctions, shoots, golf tournaments, etc. and to provide a local gathering
for NRA members.

* The Friends of the NRA program is here to help preserve the Second
Amendment, promote the shooting sports and firearms education, and other
traditional, non-political NRA activities.

* Proceeds are raised under the umbrella of The NRA Foundation,
which is a 501 (c) (3) charitable and educational organization.

* Proceeds raised go toward firearms safety training, youth
education, hunter safety training programs, range development, conservation,
and Second Amendment education.

* Half of the proceeds raised at local banquets are used to fund
projects in your state; the other half is used for national NRA programs.

* None of the proceeds may be used for political, legislative, or
lobbying activities, due to the charitable tax status of The NRA Foundation.

* Contributions to The NRA Foundation are tax deductible in
accordance with Federal law.
