Positive Solutions of Nonlinear Systems of Differential Equations
Abstract. In this talk I will start with a brief discussion of positive
solutions of algebraic equations, and then introduce new concepts of
superlinearity and sublinearity for nonlinear system of differential
equations. I will illustrate that the number of positive solutions of
boundary value problems for nonlinear systems of differential equations can
be determined by appropriate combinations of superlinearity and sublinearity
assumptions.
This talk is accessible to a general audience.

Our next speakers will be Marc Loizeaux and Lucas Van der Merwe, Math
Department, UTC. The day and time will be announced later.
