Congratulations to Coach J. D. Kyser and all the members of the Lady Mocs
Soccer team for an outstanding year. Kyzer was voted Coach of the Year
after leading the Lady Mocs to a 6-2-3 regular season conference record
(9-5-3 overall). The Lady Mocs participated in the Southern Conference
Tournament for the first time since the league expanded to more than eight
teams, winning their first game over ETSU 3-1 and losing in the semi-finals
to Furman.

Another record was set for the Lady Mocs with two players named as first
team selections on the All-Conference Team, Diana Jallo, the SoCon’s
leading goal scorer in 2003, and midfielder Elfa Erlingsdottir. Brooke
Crandall was selected to the SoCon Second Team. For the Lady Mocs, these
were the first players ever named to the first team, and the total of three
gave the most Lady Mocs their highest total ever for selections to
All-Conference teams.

What a terrific performance by the players and coaches. Thanks for a
great season!
