Opportunity to participate in a ground breaking research study here on
campus

Attention all students and faculty:
Two graduate students from the Physical Therapy program are conducting
a research study and would like your participation. Their study is
evaluating foot types using the equipment in the gait lab here at UTC.
Presently, they are looking for participants with a known foot
deformity or gait abnormality. Examples of these include individuals
with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, or
parkinsons to name a few. Participants are not limited to those with a
disease process. Anyone with a known abnormal gait is welcome.

The non-inavasive evaluation will only take 20-25 minutes to complete
and will be held in the gait lab on the bottom floor of the UTC Arena.
This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a research study and
further the information available about the pressures distributed
through the foot during walking.

If you would like to participate or know someone who would be willing
to, please contact Kendra Wyatt or Bill Grace for more information. You
may respond through email to [log in to unmask] or call
423-596-1482.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with you.
