There will be an open meeting tonight at the Chattanooga Convention and
Trade Center at 5:15 discussing the proposed Riverfront Development in the
Ross's Landing area. The plan will include changing Riverfront Parkway from
the current four-lane to a two-lane road. As you are aware, the state has
given Riverfront Parkway over to the city for use as they see fit. The
development threatens the future of the Riverbend Festival, River Roast,
Southern Belle and many others. If you love Riverbend and the 14.8 million
dollars it brings to our town, please come and participate in this
discussion.
