April Chattanooga Writers Guild Meeting

Celebrate National Poetry Month!!!!!

When: Tuesday, April 13 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Where: UTC University Center, Ocoee Room (2nd floor)

The next monthly meeting of the Chattanooga Writers Guild will be held at the UTC University Center, Second Floor, in the Ocoee Room on Tuesday, April 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Our program will celebrate National Poetry Month, which is held April of each year, and will feature members of the CWG poetry group. These poets will read from their own work, as well the work of established poets. An open mike will be held after the featured readers, allowing CWG members and guests to share their poetry. As always, there will be time for mingling and sharing your latest writing news with the CWG. We look forward to seeing you!

Location: The meeing will be held in the same building as last month's meeting, the UTC University Center Ocoee Room. Meeting starts at 7pm. Board of Directors meeting will begin at 6pm

Directions: From Highway 27N or 27S you will exit at 4th Street (Downtown). Stay on 4th Street to Mabel Street (you'll go through approximately 3 stop lights & will see the McKenzie arena (the Round House) on your right; Mabel street is at the stoplight by the arena--the sign may be missing). Turn right onto Mabel Street. Follow Mabel Street approx. 1/4 mile and you'll see the UTC University Center on your right--you should see a bookstore, which is located in the bottom floor of the University Center. There is a large graveyard directly across from the UC. You can park anywhere on the street (that doesn't have a yellow curb) or in any of the parking lots (these don't require a permit after 5:00).
