As I leave UTC, I would like to thank a few people. Mike Ward has provided
me with help and information on more than a few occasions. No matter how
stupid the question was he answered it and didn't make me feel stupid, which
was a feat in itself. He is an asset to CECA and UTC. Dr. Karen Adsit
provided her wisdom many times and gave me the freedom to do my job. I
wonder if UTC realizes what a resource they have in her. Christina Lee and
Sandra Cagle have heavy loads from many areas but they do their jobs with
grace, dignity and for the most part a smile. Rusty Leutz and Dan Chase
have provided invaluable technical support which I have appreciated. I also
have appreciated the hard work the Student Assistants have given. These
students give up their free time and many times their study time, for very
little pay. Without them, I could not have done my job. Dr. Ziad Keilany
encouraged and believed in me when I was trying to earn my degree. Being
dyslexic, I needed the encouragement and I am grateful that a professor of
his caliber would take extra time to personally help one his students.
Nancy Owens is another incredible resource that the University seems to take
for granted. She took time out of her very busy schedule and went out of
her way many times to help me. Nita Pugh, Work Control Professional, always
seemed to be happy to help fix all of those problems I called in to her. I
just don't know how she keeps such a good attitude.

The biggest "Thank You" goes to Vivian Schmid and Kenda Stamps. They have
provided support and true friendship through the good and bad times these
past eight-and-a-half years. I truly do not know what I would have done
without them.

There are many others (Computing Services, ICSS, Randy Whitson, Sue Garrett,
Frankie, ......) that deserve a big "Thank You", too, but I do not have
enough time to name them all. As with any place of business, UTC has it's
problems. However, UTC also has many positive aspects, like the people that
I have mentioned. UTC is also a very attractive campus. I believe, that in
my feeble way, I am leaving UTC in better shape that I found it. The
Student Microcomputer Labs have gone through many changes in the last three
years and I am glad I got to be a part of that changes. Thank you again for
putting up with me for all of these years.

Farewell,
Britt Henderson
