According to a research done last year at Vanderbilt University, the cost of
a single DUI
Conviction in Tennessee could easily total $ 15,000.00 or more in fines,
fees, attorney costs and higher insurance premiums.
The presumptive level of intoxication in Tennessee was a blood-alcohol level
of .10 until last year. The lawmakers dropped it to .08.
