Are you teaching new GenEd courses or re-vamped GenEd courses this
semester?
Are you requiring your students to do research using library and
Internet sources?
We have noticed an interesting similarity when working with students in
the library. Students majoring in one discipline frequently have
difficulty doing research in other fields when taking GenEd courses.
The library's instructional program is here to help.
The library faculty help design instructional presentations introducing
students in specific courses to research methods and tools useful for
specific assignments.
Check out the library's instructional services page for details:

In working with other faculty we have already
* created instructional guides for several courses at:
http://www.lib.utc.edu/library/handouts/
* created web pages of Internet sites for many disciplines at:
http://www.lib.utc.edu/internet/guides/
* helped design library and Internet assignments
