Attention all students who enjoy working with young people while earning
extra money for the summer, please read the following. GEAR-UP is
sponsoring a summer camp for our rising 7th and 8th graders from our inner
city target schools of Dalewood and East Lake Middle School from July
14-20. The purpose of this camp is to sharpen their math and reading skills
while experiencing life on the Georgia National Guard Camp in Tunnel Hill,
Georgia.

The qualified applicant would act as a mentor, teacher and counselor to
nurture the children. In addition to those duties the counselors are
expected to work in the classroom with students, play basketball, swimming,
hiking, canoeing, play capture the flag and go scavenger hunting and other
field trips that will occur.  The room and board would be covered in
addition to your $250 salary for the week.
