I just received the following information regarding the UT Presidential
Search and would like to share it with the entire campus.  This search is
vitally important to all of us in the UT System, and I hope that each of
you will respond if you have suggestions regarding the process or wish to
nominate candidates.  In addition to or instead of using the website, you
may, of course, contact members of the Advisory Council and/or members of
the Search Committee directly.  These are all listed on the website.
Specific forums to solicit input from a broad constituency will also be
held throughout the state in the coming weeks.

The UT Presidential website is now active and ready to receive input from
constituency groups and the public in regard to the Plan for the Selection
Process, as well as nominations. The site is linked to the system homepage,
each campus homepage, and the Governor's homepage.  The address is
http://utpresidentsearch.tennessee.edu

The site will serve as a work in progress and will evolve and change with
the process. Dr. Carolyn Hodges, Chair of the Advisory Council, worked with
website designers at UT to provide input from Advisory Council Members on
the UT Presidential Search website.
