Last week some of you may have had the pleasure to see our new program
for special needs kids on campus Spectrum University, singing, dancing
and having a great time. Starting Monday June 26th through Friday June
30, we will welcome our second group of special needs kids and young
adults in Spectrum University ages 13-21.
Please feel free to drop by and say hi. We are based in Grote 227 but
you may see us running to complete the Spectrum University AMAZING RACE,
dancing with ribbons on the field, making a movie at the television
station and many other exciting activities.
We also have a special field trip on Friday June 30th. Come hear
SPECTRUM UNIVERSITY AT MILLER PLAZA - RHYTHM AT NOON. We will take the
stage from 11:15 - 11:45 We will be singing folk songs and playing hand
held instruments. At 12:00 stay for the Unum-Provident Swing band.
Thank you again to all the departments who have generously donated time,
material and supplies to make this such a rewarding experience. For
more information, please call Rachel Salomon-Sadowitz at 5478 or at
(423) 802-7103.
