Good morning everyone. I recently received a notice that soprano Stella
Zambalis will sing a farewell concert with the adult choirs of First United
Methodist Church in Dalton, 500 South Thornton Avenue in Dalton this Sunday
the 29th at 5pm. While their is no charge for this performance, an
offering will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NW Georgia.

Ms. Zambalis is a major talent. She has appeared in countless opera
productions, and she premiered the role of Cherubino in John Corigliano's
The Ghosts of Versailles at the Metropolitan Opera in 1991. Last season we
were fortunate to have her conduct a master class with Patten Series artist
Robert Trentham.

For more information about the concert, contact Director of Music
Ministries Peter Infanger at [log in to unmask] or call him at
706-278-8494, ext. 109.

If Ms. Zambalis is moving away, I for one am quite sad, for she is a
wonderful singer and fine lady. I hope many will attend the concert to wish
her the very best and to support Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
