The Development Office has received a number of donations for a tree to
be planted on the UTC campus in memory of Ms. Sheri Hawley, a longtime
employee of the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Institutional
Research, who died on August 19.  The minimum cost of purchasing the
tree, engraving a memorial plaque, and planting the tree is $500, and we
are currently a little short of that goal.  The Development Office will
receive the donations, and work with Facilities Management to complete
the project.  If you would like to contribute to this fund, you may
write a check payable to the "Plant a Tree Fund."  Also, please be sure
to write "Sheri Hawley Memorial" on the memo line and send the check to
the UTC Development Office, Dept. 6806 UTC.  If you would like more
