Faculty,
I would like to offer a bit of advice regarding students with disabilities
about final exams.

1. Do not change the time of the final scheduled exam. This is not a
necessary accommodation for a CAP student.

2. Do not alter the format of the test unless you have received a letter
from the CAP office stating that this is an accommodation for this student.

3. Do not lower academic standards or course requirements for CAP students.

4. Extended test time(double time) does not mean that it can only be
offered to the CAP student in our office. You have the right and privilege
to offer extended test time to the student in your office or anywhere. CAP
testing rooms are only a convenience offered to the student by the University.

If you have questions, please call EXT. 4008.
Thanks, Deb
