Is the state's revenue shortfall a crisis? Is now the time for a state
income tax? Get an economist's view on these and other issues at the
Chamber's Eggs n' Issues Policy Breakfast Forum, on Wednesday, June 23.
Dr. Bill Fox, professor of economics at UT Knoxville, will speak on
"The State of the Economy in Tennessee." Dr. Fox's current research focuses
on the relationship between public policy and regional growth and on
designing appropriate tax policies for rapidly emerging industries.
The Chamber's Eggs n' Issues Policy Breakfast Forum will begin at
7:45 a.m.in the Roosevelt Room of the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Tickets are
$15 per person. Eggs 'n Issues is sponsored by Yellow Book.
