March is Employee Assistance Program Awareness Month. This is the month we
acquaint/reacquaint employees of the beneficial service provided by the
Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

We all have problems now and then that keep us from concentrating on other
things that are more important. In times like this, the EAP is available
to give your problem the attention it deserves.

The EAP provides professional confidential counseling services to eligible
employees* and their dependents at no cost. Problems addressed are family,
marital, emotional, substance abuse, stress, job and financial issues.
Legal consultaion via telephone is also available. If an eligible employee
or dependent needs greater assistance, the EAP counselor will refer to
other community resources. Over 500 EAP counselors are available across
the state to see employees. They are professionals in private practice who
are under contract with the State's EAP vendor, Greenspring of Tennessee.

The EAP can be accessed by calling 1-800/867-6811.
