First the ethnic stereotypes. Now we make with the blond and bald jokes?
Isn't this supposed to be a university? Shouldn't we serve as a model of
social sensitivity?

This is why I suggest we develop a new figure of ridicule, a scapegoat that
would pass any test for political correctness. Such a figure would have to
be free of any gender, ethnic, or hair bias. In short, we need as the butt
of our jokes (for butts we must have) a figure not of this earth.

I suggest, then, that we use the term "Martian."

Thus...

How many Martians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
What did one Martian say to another Martian?
Three Martians walk into a bar...

You get the idea.

Hmm. On second thought, "Martian" does have a traditional human gender bias.
And folks from Le Mars, Iowa might get upset.

Rats! Same problem with Venus.

Ahh, I've got it! Uranus! Think of the scatological possibilities...and all
completely politically correct!

All we have to determine now is what to call a resident of Uranus.

A blond was sitting next to an elderly gentleman on a city bus. She noticed
the headline of the newspaper he was reading read "Twelve Brazilian Soldiers
Die in Battle." Upset by the news, the blond asked the gentleman "How much
is a brazilian?"

Let's try to avoid the use of the "b word" when referring to those of us
who happen to be "follicle imparied!"

Are bald jokes banned as well? According to my student reviews this
would prevent me from showing up to work.
