Due to technical difficulties in forwarding our Help Desk phone, the best
way to report computer problems or request assistance is to dail extension
2678, the Student Help Desk, instead of the usual 4000.

The movers are here as I type loading the Help Desk furniture and equipment,
so we cannot promise a quick response to routine problems, but priority
issues can be handled by other staff as they arise. We apologize for the
difficulty with the telephone. If you tried to contact us yesterday, you
may want to call again today at 2678 to be sure your request is properly
entered.

We expect to resume normal operations early next week. Thanks for your
patience.
