Workshop Details:

§ 9:00-9:50 a.m.: Poetry Writing - Dinggedichte. Led by Helga Kidder. Workshop overview: This workshop is inspired by the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, renowned German poet. He created what he called "Dinggedichte" or object poems that reached deep into his interior. We will take a look at some of these poems and use the new-found knowledge to reach our own voice, expressing feelings and moods, through exploration of an object.

§ 10:00-10:50 a.m.: Editing. Led by Jane Lael. Workshop overview: Editing your own work? That of another? Approaches, resources, and tools of the trade make a difference. Come learn the basics and Q&A with a professional editor.

§ 11:00-11:50 a.m.: Fiction Writing. Led by Rebecca Cook and Penny Dyer. Workshop overview: Learn fiction writing techniques from two published, award winning fiction writers.
