Dr. Nick Honerkamp, Director of the Jeffrey L. Brown Institute for
Archaeology, has recently been awarded $7,083 by the City of Chattanooga to
perform archaeological monitoring services. This archaeological monitoring
will focus on new construction and other ground-disturbing activities
associated with the renovation of the 1200 block of Market Street. The
Institute will collect and analyze data and prepare a report detailing the
archaeological significance of the site.
>
Please join the Office of Grants and Program Review in congratulating Dr.
Honerkamp on his selection by the City of Chattanooga to conduct this work.
The Jeffrey L. Brown Institute for Archaeology represents UTC well in its
outreach to our community.
