Folks,

Chattanooga is hosting the first US site of the cre824 International Web
Design competition. What is it?? From www.cre824.com:

> 24 Hour Competition
> Beginning at 8am on Friday morning, November 18, 2005.
> The best web designers in the nation will be competing for a chance to
> represent the United States at the 2006 Webdesign International Finals in
> France, and they need YOU to help cheer them on!
>
> Watch the drama unfold as the WebJam heats up, and show your National
> support as the cre824 Competition is simulcast across the globe to the 12
> other competing countries.
>

There is also an excellent line-up of speakers that will be presenting over
the two day competition. Best of all, UTC is a partner (thanks, Chancellor
Brown) and as such, students, faculty and staff have complete access to the
conference (speakers and competition) without charge.

If any of you are interested in Webdesign - this is the place to be!

Please contact me if you're interested in attending and I'll add you to the
UTC list. Also, if you have some time and you're willing to volunteer,
please let me know that as well and I'll put you in touch with the
coordinators.

See you there!

Andy
