As I was driving to work this morning, I noticed a "For Sale" sign on
a home on my street--3712 Norma Drive in East Ridge. It's a very
convenient place to live and I would so like for someone special to grab
this house quickly. It's a small house, I'd say about 1400 square feet
with a basement and a fenced-in back yard. A hard-working retired couple
lived in it for years. The husband died in January and before he died he
had new appliances put in the kitchen and a new roof and gutters put on the
house. The wife died in April. They had no children so the house is being
sold by her relatives. The number to call is 931-967-6586. I don't know
for sure about the price, but I would say asking is probably between
$90-100,000. The yard is the prettiest yard on the block. Neighbors range
from retired widows to a young man who just received a degree in
Engineering from UTC. Call quickly because it's going to go quickly.
