No kidding, Greg. I have already responded to at least five students about that very confusion this morning. Don't the folks who make these decisions know how T/TH classes are scheduled? It certainly appears that way.

Subject: [UTCSTAFF] Opening at 10?
When weather makes it wise to delay the University's opening, it might make
sense to align the official opening time more closely with class schedules.
To open at 10:00 on a Thursday is potentially confusing for students with a
9:25-10:40 class. If the opening were set at 10:30, it might be clearer that
9:25 classes really are officially cancelled.
Just a thought,
Greg O'Dea
