for teaching and learning
Spiraling Grades: Is Inflation More than an Economic Term?
Wednesday, October 24, 2001, 9:00 - 10:00 am, Sequoyah Room
Does grade inflation exist at UTC? What does the research say about what
causes it? What can faculty do to prevent it? Is it even a "bad" thing?
This seminar is designed to present some general information about grade
inflation and provide a forum for discussion about grades, grading, student
outcomes and grading criteria in general.
(This seminar will be repeated one more time this semester on October 30,
2001, 10:00 - 11:00 am.)
