Attached is the revised Implementation Plan developed by the Performance
Review Committee and the Handbook Committee.  It was written in response to
UT's Board of Trustees Policy (approved June 18, 1998), and it incorporates
changes offered by faculty after rejection of the previous plan at the
February 22 meeting.  The Handbook will include both the UT Board of
Trustees policy (bold print) and the Implementation Plan (normal print),
but UTC faculty vote only on the Implementation Plan.  You should have
already received a copy of the entire document.  To make certain that there
is no confusion about what faculty are actually voting on, though, the
Implementation Plan is presented below as a separate document, as a number
of faculty have requested.  It must, of course, be read in context of the
UT Board of Trustees Policy to be understood fully.
