IMPORTANT NOTICE TO USERS OF PEGASUS MAIL:

If you are still using Pegasus Mail and are not part of the School of
Business, please contact the Help Desk at 755-4000 as soon as possible so
that we can arrange to set up Eudora for you. (If you'd rather download
and install Eudora yourself, you can do so at
http://www.utc.edu/helpdesk/kb/faqs/software/software.htm.)

Problems with the UTC_AF01 server have made necessary a change of hardware
and an upgrade of the server's operating system. As a result, Pegasus Mail
will very soon cease to exist on UTC_AF01 (the School of Business has their
own server and is completely unaffected by these changes).

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to convert your Pegasus mailboxes,
address books, etc. for use in Eudora. Pegasus users should IMMEDIATELY
print hard copies of all correspondence you need to save, and copy down all
important e-mail addresses that are stored in your address book so that you
can re-enter them later in Eudora. Delay may result in permanent loss of
these materials.

We have been moving people from Pegasus Mail to Eudora for some time now
and it's likely the number of people affected is small. Unfortunately, the
failure of the server has made the change much more abrupt than any of us
would have hoped. If you have questions, please feel free to call the Help
Desk at 755-4000.
