Professor Lucien Ellington authors third book on Japan, is editor of a
general series on Asia, and is named a Marvin Wachman Senior Fellow
of the Foreign Policy Research Institute.

Ellington recently authored "Japan: A Global Studies Handbook,"
published by ABC-CLIO. The book, the first of a general series on Asia
edited by Ellington, is an introduction to Japan intended for various
readers, including educators, students, and business people. The
Philadelphia-based Foreign Policy Research Institute, in recognition of
Ellington's national Asia outreach work with educators, named
Ellington in early March a Senior Fellow in its Marvin Wachman Fund for
International Education.
