Dr. Andrew Novobilski and Dr. Joseph Dumas of the Department of Computer
Science have been awarded a grant in the amount of $9246 from the Wolf
Aviation Fund to fund a project entitled "Integration of Virtual Reality
Hardware with Open Source Flight Simulator Software in Support of Aviation
and Space Education."

This project will advance aviation and space education through the
development of a Virtual Reality based flight simulator to be used by
students to explore concepts associated with flight. This will be through
a partnership with the UTC Challenger Center.

Congratulations to Drs. Novobilski and Dumas on this award, and best wishes
for the success of the project.
