I would like to thank Teresa McKinney, Elizabeth Bailey and Jan Arp with
the College of Health, Education and Professional Studies for putting
together an exceptionally informative, collaborative and forward
thinking workshop/retreat/brainstorming session this morning for
department heads and administrative support folks in CHEPS.  We covered
fundamentals, procedural changes and forms for everything from EDO's to
syllabi.  We had individuals from various administrative offices on hand
not only to give presentations, but to participate in suggestion making
and answer questions.  What a way to foster dialogue and coordination
between departments, faculty and staff.

This was a FABULOUS idea!  Thank you to all involved, and especially
Teresa, for your time, thoughtfulness and efforts to make our jobs,
college and university run more smoothly.
