The time has come for the university center to close for expansion.  All
offices and services will be moved out between now and June 1.

At this time we are no longer able to reserve any rooms in the University
Center.  The planned opening for the new and improved university center is
August of 2003.  The University Center Staff will try to assist the
university community in reserving classroom space for meetings and programs
around the academic class schedules.   Because space needed for meetings is
not concentrated in one building, the staff needs your request two weeks in
advance.  Please call them at 425-4455 if they can be of assistance.


The following is a list of temporary closings and moves for the offices and
services in the University Center.

1.  Food Service is closed until sometime in June when it will reopen at
its new location in Guerry Center.  For quick grab and go items please
visit Java City in Fletcher Hall.

2.  The ticket office is closed at this time.  Information will be coming
in the future once we have established a date and location for its reopening.

3.   Cooperative Education, Counseling and Career Planning, Placement and
Student Employment, and the Student Development offices will begin moving
to Pfeiffer Hall on June 20th.  The phone numbers will remain the
same.  Please be patient as you try to locate our staff during the
move.  We will make every effort to ensure that our phones are answered,
but in the event that there is a delay in moving the phone numbers, please
leave a message.

4.  The University Center Staff and Student Organizations will be moving to
Stadium Hall before June 1.
