Thanks to everyone on campus for making last week's freshman orientation
session so successful. I'd like to extend special thanks to Carol Oglesby
and the Maclellan Gym staff who went above and beyond the call of duty in
letting us take over their building, to Jim Bowman who facilitated online
registration for the students (despite many technical difficulties), and to
the entire Student Development team who pitched in on many different tasks.
One down ... four more freshman sessions to go!

Tomorrow we host our first transfer orientation of the summer. We are
expecting between 50 and 100 transfer students to be on campus for this
one-day session. We will be in Fletcher Hall all day, so please send the
students to us if they appear to be lost or confused.

Thanks again for everyone's assistance.
