For those of you who may be interested in a full-service gas station
near downtown:  What used to be Killebrew Texaco, near the intersection
of Signal Mountain and Dayton Blvds., is in the process of installing
new fuel pumps.  They will offer full service, with gasoline prices only
1-2 cents per gallon more than the nearby self-service stations.  They
will also continue doing car repair work.  Through the years, my husband and
I have had them do brake work, replace a radiator, transmission work,
replace a water pump, replace bearings, etc.  We have been pleased with
their work and have found them to be very honest.
