Now that the Krystal Square-Off is finished, I have a challenge
to all of the campus employees who were outraged by the
event. Why don't you join me in visiting the American Red
Cross office (conveniently located to you at the corner of
Palmetto and McCallie) and make a donation. Or, if that is
not convenient enough for you - the Athletics Department will
be collecting money at our Football home opener tomorrow
at 6:00 pm, Finley Stadium. All monies collected will go
directly to the American Red Cross.

The media has made many announcements regarding how
we can best assist this terrible national tragedy. Americans
are recommended to give monetary donations to the Red
Cross or the Salvation Army. This suggestion has been made
clear by CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS and NBC. Rather than cancelling
all of our events, which were planned weeks before this catastrophe
occurred - why don't we challenge one another to "put our money
where our mouth is".
