I have been informed that the funeral home that is providing the cremations
will do so at cost, and will do so in advance of the family raising any
funds. Thus, donations will still be accepted to offset the funeral home's
cost.

Additionally, the Billingtons had 4 Akitas -- gentle but large dogs, some
male, some female, all in good health (checked by vet recently). We know
that one is 8 years old and another is 10, at least one is neutered, but we
don't have more information at this point. The dogs are currently with the
humane society, but they will be released back to the family on Monday and
available for adoption probably by Wednesday.

If anyone is interested in making donations or in finding homes for the
dogs, the number at Schemel, LeCroy-Schemel is, again, 267-9955. You can
ask for AnnMarie, or Ed Schemel, or Cynthia LeCroy-Schemel.

Thanks,

Amye Warren
