I'm selling tickets for Proffitt's Holiday Benefit Sale. It's a private
sale on Saturday, November 17 from 6am to 10 am.  The tickets are $5.00
each with ALL proceeds going to the non-profit charitable
organizations.  Ticket holders are eligible for door prizes and free
refreshments.  You have to purchase a ticket to shop during the special sale.

There are several organizations participating and I'm involved with two of
them. You can choose which organization you wish to support (or both).

The Chattanooga Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC)

My son, Jimmy, participates in this wonderful program.  His picture is on
their website (under the "Volunteers" link).  Don't let the "side saddle"
shot fool you...he rides tall in the saddle.  Be sure to check out the

The Humane Animal Rescue Team (HART)

HART operates a low cost spay/neuter program in the Southeast
Tennessee/North Georgia area.  HART was instrumental in enacting the
Tennessee Animal Friendly License plates in Tennessee with proceeds going
to support low cost spay/neuter programs statewide.  HART received one of
the first three grants given by the state from the Tennessee Animal
Friendly fund.  Funds raised will help special needs cases and families in
North Georgia.
