Whenever you get a "Virus Alert" of any kind, please DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTIONS
without checking to be sure the threat is legimate.  You can call the Help
Desk at 755-4000 or go to a trusted source such as www.vmyths.com or
www.symantec.com to see what the real story is.

At least 90% of the virus warnings out there are hoaxes.  Some of them, like
the one Tatiana Allen encountered below, try to get you to do the dirty work
for them.  The "virus" file called sulfnbk.exe that she deleted is a
standard Windows file that fortunately is not used very often.  If it had
been a more critical file, her computer would now be dead in the water.

Please, do not blindly follow instructions you get from anyone without
consulting a trusted authority.  It would be bad enough to cripple your own
computer, but to invite others to do the same would almost be a crime.
