WAMP ANNOUNCES INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN DISTRICT OFFICES

CHATTANOOGA - Congressman Zach Wamp (R - TN) announces openings for
challenging fulltime internship opportunities for Third District college
students in his Oak Ridge and Chattanooga offices effective immediately.

Interns receive hands-on experience working with federal agencies,
researching projects, writing reports and helping with general office
duties.

President George W. Bush visited Oak Ridge in July 2004, and
Congressional
interns ushered during the chance of a lifetime event. Interns have
attended community events with Congressman Wamp, assisted in medals
presentations to veterans and helped with logistics of the Tennessee
Technology Corridor Summit.

Internships provide many opportunities to learn how government works
and how
a Congressional office serves the public. Candidates must reside in or
attend a college or university inside Tennessee's Third District and be
part
of an educational program. Interns work during regular business hours,
but
hours are flexible.

To apply, fill out an application online at

Ridge.
