Good Afternoon,

Declaration of Major
NCAA Bylaw 14.4.3.1.4

The NCAA requires: A student-athlete must designate a program of studies
leading toward a specific baccalaureate degree at UTC by the beginning of
the third year of enrollment (fifth semester.)

I.e. a student-athlete must declare a major to be eligible for practice or
competition by the start of the junior year.
