JALLO, CHISMARK SELECTED TO LEAGUE ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Two Chattanooga women's soccer players were selected
All- Conference today as voted on by the Southern Conference head coaches
and announced at the tournament banquet Wednesday, Nov. 3.

Junior Diana Jallo earned her second straight All-Conference First Team
selection as the league's leading scorer. Jallo netted 13 goals this season
and amassed six assists for a total 32 points, one shy of the single-season
record she set in 2003.

Senior Meghan Chismark was selected to the league's Second Team in her
first year as a member of the Lady Mocs. The Tennessee transfer tallied 12
assists this season and, along with teammate Maya Peel, set a new UTC
single-season assist record and is ranked second on the all-time list for
Chattanooga. Chismark was ranked first in the nation for six weeks in
assists per game and is currently fifth by the NCAA. She was fourth on the
team in scoring with 18 points and scored a single-game best five assists
against South Carolina State.

First place UNC Greensboro and Furman each had three players named to the
first team. The Spartan's Amy Carnell was named Player of the Year and
Karla Davis was selected Freshman of the Year. Davidson's Greg Ashton was
named Coach of the Year as he turned the Wildcats around from ninth place
in the league in 2003 to a tie with the Lady Mocs for fourth place at 7-3-1
in the conference and 10-8-1 overall in his first year.

Overall nine teams were represented on the two 11-player squads. College of
Charleston and Davidson each had two players on the team.

Chattanooga will take on Davidson Thursday, Nov. 4 at 5:00 p.m. at the UNCG
Soccer Stadium in round one of the 2004 SoCon Tournament. The second round
will take place Friday with the final on Sunday. Saturday will be an off day.
