The GEAR UP program is seeking artists for an after school program.  If
you or someone you know would be interested in a position, please email

GEAR UP is looking for teaching artists from a variety of disciplines
(visual, dance, drama, video, etc.) to expose middle school students to
the arts during the GEAR UP after school program.  These art classes
(called "exploratory sessions") are the culminating activity of this
basic skills enriching after-school program. The teaching staff consists
of UTC student counselors who assist the artists and students.
 

Days:  Monday - Wednesday

Time :  4:30 - 5:10pm

Dates:  January 29 - March 8

School:  Orchard Knob, Dalewood, Howard Middle Schools

Students:  6th and 7th graders in After-School Program (Class size is
approximately 12 students)

Pay: Varies according to education and experience
