Deb Anderson, Director of UTC College Access Program (CAP), has received
$244,308 in continuation funding from the Division of Rehab Services in the
Tennessee Department of Human Services.  UTC's CAP center offers support
services for UTC students with learning disabilities and provides them with
advisement, tutoring, counseling, and computerized remediation assistance.

Ms. Anderson also has secured $42,000 in funding for Accessible Academic
Accommodations (AAA).  This UTC program provides services to physically
disabled students, including counselors, reader services, note takers, and
interpreters for the deaf/hard of hearing.

Please join the Office of Grants and Program Review in congratulating Ms.
Anderson and CEAPS on these awards and convey our appreciation for
providing continued assistance that enables stuents with disabilities at
UTC to succeed.
