According to an article in this morning's electronic edition of the
Atlanta Journal Constitution, people who want to teach and who hold
at least a bachelor's degree with a 2.5 overall GPA (and take a
four-week crash course in education) may start teaching this fall in
the Georgia public schools...

...the article indicates starting salaries for these "provisionally"
licensed teachers will be about $30,000...
