Many of you know Gretchen Potts, faculty member in Chemistry and Faculty
Senate secretary.  It is with great sadness that we report the passing
of her mother, Linda Mary Potts, at 10:25 a.m. on October 4, 2006.
Messages for the family can be placed in the guest book at
http://home.comcast.net/~gretchen-potts .  Her mother received a liver
transplant a year ago, but both it and her kidneys recently failed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that people give a memorial in
Linda's name to the Ohio Chapter of the American Liver Foundation. (Ohio
Chapter, American Liver Foundation, 5775 Granger Road, Suite 335,
Independence, OH 44131-1455) It is important to the family to support
Hepatits C research. Thank you.
