Hope everyone is having a good fall break whether you are on campus, at
home, or traveling....

My 22 year old stepson just graduated from MTSU in August and is about
to move to Orlando for his first "real" job after college. His old
desktop PC died and he really needs a laptop anyway. But, he is on a
tight budget and really can't afford to buy one new.

If anyone out there in RAVEN-land has a used laptop computer (personal,
not UTC property -- maybe you just upgraded to a Vista machine
recently?) in good shape and wants to find a new home for it, please let
me know. Ideally it would be a machine of fairly recent vintage, with
working wireless network connectivity and new enough to at least have
Windows XP on it. But I'll look at just about anything....

I am working from home at the moment but plan on being on campus
tomorrow so I would be able to look at anything you bring in. Even
Wednesday morning might be possible (I'm not sure exactly when he is
heading south). Thanks in advance for any replies.

Joe
