The Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC) &
        The Martin Luther King Neighborhood Association (MLKNA) will host the
third
        in a series of community workshops.

        You are invited to this free workshop!

        The Community Organizational/ Political Development Workshops will
consist
        of
        two parts:

        1. Participating in & Organizing Effective Meetings
        Saturday, April 20, 2002
        9:30-11:30 a.m.
        Bessie Smith Hall- 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

        This workshop will be presented by Dr. Marvin Ernst, UTC Professor of
        Human Services Management.

        This workshop will discuss, "Do you attend a lot of long meetings?
Witness and practice basics of meeting
        management."

        2. What does re-districting mean to your community?
        Saturday, April 20, 2002
        Noon-2:00 p.m.
        Bessie Smith Hall- 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

        This workshop will be presented by Dr. David Brodsky, UTC Professor of
Political Science. Dr. Brodsky
        will discuss, "Do election districts make a difference? Will the
people you vote for represent you?"
